Najaf: Najaf Civil Defense announced that it had brought under control a fire that broke out in a vegetable market (Alwa) in the northern neighborhoods of the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, media official Ali Tawij stated that the incident resulted in the burning of three shops inside the market, which were covered with sandwich panels and highly flammable plastic crates.

He added that the fire was brought under control, and there were no significant human or material losses.
