Najaf: The Najaf Governorate Council convened its regular session today under the leadership of Hussein Al-Issawi to address its planned agenda. Al-Issawi announced that Najaf has completed its preparations to accommodate the official, religious, and social delegations set to arrive for the funeral procession of the martyr Ali Khamenei. He emphasized that the governorate is fully equipped to facilitate the success of all events associated with the funeral ceremonies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the council’s media center disclosed that during the session, Majid Hakim was elected as Vice Chairman of the Najaf Governorate Council. The council’s aim is to ensure a smooth and respectful environment for the delegations that will be offering their condolences, as well as for the local community participating in the ceremonies.
