Najaf: The Friday prayer leader and preacher in Najaf has urged the international community to place Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on the terrorist list, emphasizing the ongoing tragedy in Gaza as a dire plea to the world’s conscience.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a political sermon delivered in Najaf, Al-Qabanji highlighted the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, describing it as a “human genocide on the scale of famine,” exacerbated by the lack of essential supplies like bread and water. He implored the international community to awaken to this humanitarian disaster.
Addressing the Arbaeen pilgrimage, Al-Qabanji underscored the crucial role of media outlets, urging all international, Islamic, and Iraqi media to cover the massive gathering, which he described as the largest popular assembly in human history. He also called for the prohibition of sectarian and provocative channels by the relevant authorities, stressing the need for unity and peaceful reporting during this significant event.
