Baghdad: The governor of Najaf, Youssef Ganawi, has announced the launch of a comprehensive plan for the Arba’een pilgrimage dedicated to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The plan involves mobilizing all security, service, and health departments to ensure the availability of full resources and capabilities, dedicating all personnel and equipment to provide optimal services for the millions of pilgrims arriving in the city of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The aim is to facilitate the smooth movement of pilgrims towards the holy city of Karbala.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the governor’s official spokesperson, Ahmed Al-Fatlawi, emphasized that the plan includes the involvement of all security, service, and health agencies within the governorate. This initiative is supported directly by the Ministries of Defense and Interior, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and additional municipal and traffic departments from Baghdad. Various formations from the governorates neighboring Najaf are also contributing to this extensive collaborative effort.
