Najaf: The governor of Najaf, Youssef Ganawi, chaired an expanded meeting with security leaders and directors of service departments to discuss the plan for the pilgrimage to the shrine of Imam Ali on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the latest security and service preparations for the occasion. Governor Ganawi emphasized the need to increase human readiness and leverage all resources to ensure the success of security and service plans. He highlighted the importance of achieving a smooth and organized flow during the pilgrimage.

The governor also stressed the significance of evaluating the work after the pilgrimage concludes. He advised utilizing observations and lessons learned to enhance future performance.
