Najaf Journalists Syndicate branch: Kufa police arrested an academic journalist in a humiliating manner based on a malicious lawsuit

Najaf The branch of the Journalists Syndicate in Najaf denounced the arrest of an academic journalist in a humiliating manner.

In a statement today, the branch expressed its astonishment and condemnation of the humiliating behavior and manner carried out by some judicial officers at the Maytham Al-Tammar police station in Kufa towards the academic Dr. and the veteran journalist (Kadhem Muslim Al-Amiri), who is considered one of the oldest journalists in Najaf and a professor at the University of Kufa, during the process of bringing him to the police station with and in the presence of the mayor of Kinda neighborhood in a case that turned out to be malicious.

The branch of the Journalists Syndicate in Najaf held the director of Kufa police and Maitham Al-Tammar police station responsible for insulting and violating this great Najaf journalist.

The branch also demanded the mayor of Kufa to dismiss the mayor of Kinda district, who contributed to the attack on the colleague Al-Amiri.
