Najaf: The head of the Security Media Cell at the Joint Operations Command, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, visited Najaf Governorate to hold a security meeting to discuss preparations for the Arba'een pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed the media plan for covering the pilgrimage, mechanisms for unifying the media narrative, expediting the dissemination of accurate information, and enhancing coordination between the Security Media Cell and media outlets. This aims to ensure the accurate portrayal of the efforts of security and service forces and to counter rumors and misinformation by relying on official sources.

The attendees also discussed security and organizational plans for securing pilgrims, strengthening coordination among various security and service formations to ensure smooth traffic flow, and providing a safe environment for the success of the pilgrimage, in accordance with the plans prepared by the Joint Operations Command.
