Najaf: The Najaf Provincial Council, led by Hussein Al-Issawi, has voted to decrease official working hours by one hour due to soaring temperatures. Additionally, the council is gearing up for a significant reshuffle of department directors within the governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, an official source from the council mentioned that a critical session is scheduled for next Tuesday. During this session, the council will evaluate the performance of all departments in the governorate and make decisions that align with the public interest and legal guidelines. These decisions may involve elections, replacements, or dismissals.
The source further explained that the reshuffle will impact the health and agriculture departments, alongside various department heads, the district governor, and other administrative roles.
