Najaf Residency Department Deports 34 Foreign Nationals.


Najaf: The Residency Department in Najaf has deported 34 foreigners due to breaches of residency conditions, as announced by the Najaf Police Command.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision was made by the Residence Department, which is part of the Civil Status Directorate in Najaf. Brigadier General Ghazwan Saleh Karim, the Director of Civil Status, Passports and Residency, stated that the deportations were carried out in accordance with Article 41 of the Foreigners’ Residence Law No. 76 of 2017.

He further mentioned that the Directorate is actively continuing its efforts to track down individuals who violate residency conditions, indicating ongoing enforcement of residency regulations in Najaf.
