Baghdad: Iraqi Paralympic table tennis player Najla Imad won the gold medal at the French International Paralympic Championships after defeating the world’s top-ranked player from Russia 3-2. Imad managed to secure the victory in a thrilling match after trailing 2-1, turning the tide and clinching the gold medal.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Imad had an impressive journey to the final, overcoming champions from France, Sweden, and Great Britain with a consistent score of 3-0 in each match. Her performance culminated in a captivating five-set match, where she ultimately secured the gold medal.
