Shalamcheh: The Border Crossings Authority announced the seizure of narcotics from a foreign traveler at the Shalamcheh border crossing. The Authority revealed that its detachments from the Shalamcheh Border Crossing Directorate successfully apprehended a foreign national who had concealed Tramadol narcotics pills inside a bag of rice.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the seizure occurred in the arrivals hall, where members of the Technical Division worked in collaboration with the Shalamcheh Customs Police Station and the Narcotics Control Division. A formal seizure report has been compiled, and the suspect, along with the confiscated items, has been handed over to the Shalamcheh Police Station for necessary legal procedures.
