Baghdad: An Israeli strike on Iranian territory has reportedly resulted in the deaths of three Lebanese Hezbollah members, according to initial, unofficial reports from the Iranian newspaper Kayhan. Among those killed was Hussein Khalil, also known as “Abu Ali Khalil,” who was a personal aide to former Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Khalil was reportedly killed during a raid targeting an Iranian Revolutionary Guards site near the border with Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the same strike claimed the life of Haidar al-Musawi, a leader in the Iraqi Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada movement, alongside a third Lebanese individual whose identity remains undisclosed.
