Baghdad: The National Approach Alliance has issued a statement condemning the recent attacks on the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), describing them as a significant breach on an official security institution that plays a crucial role in Iraq’s defense system.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the alliance emphasized the importance of the PMF, highlighting its sacrifices in fighting terrorism and safeguarding Iraq’s territory and people. The alliance stressed that these attacks should not be seen as isolated incidents but as developments requiring a decisive and responsible response.

The alliance’s statement urged that a firm stance be taken to protect and maintain the security and military institutions, preventing further assaults that could jeopardize Iraq’s stability and security. It called for immediate measures to uphold Iraq’s sovereignty and ensure the safety of its institutions and citizens.
