Baghdad: The National Investment Commission has affirmed that the Bismayah Complex project is developed in compliance with the highest internationally and locally recognized safety standards, ensuring a secure living environment for all its residents.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the commission announced that all residential and service buildings within the complex are equipped with fire sensors connected to a comprehensive alarm system. This system is managed through the Management Office, which promptly issues warning signals upon detecting any fire signs, facilitating swift intervention.

The commission's statement further elaborates that each building in the complex features an emergency staircase at every corner, along with two staircases for ascending and descending at the building's edges. Additionally, modern electric elevators that can accommodate up to 18 people are installed to ensure rapid evacuation during emergencies.

The commission also highlighted the presence of fire hydrants within each building and distributed throughout all blocks, as well as main and side streets in the city. This arrangement ensures that fire trucks can quickly access and address any incident.

Furthermore, the commission emphasized that Bismayah City includes buildings specifically designed for fire stations, adhering to approved technical specifications. This ensures the readiness of firefighting teams for immediate intervention when required.

The commission refuted any claims regarding the lack of safety measures in the Bismayah Residential City project, stating that such allegations are inaccurate and without technical merit. It reiterated that public safety remains a top priority in all its projects, especially in residential complexes.
