The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, stressed that the Iraqis’ standing with their brothers in Palestine is a fraternal duty.

Al-Araji said during his meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador in Baghdad, Ahmed Aqel that “Iraq has stood and will always stand by its Palestinian brothers, supporting their just cause, and will spare no effort in defending that right,” noting that the Iraqis’ standing with their brothers in Palestine is a fraternal duty, expressing his hope that the region and the world will witness more security and stability.”

For his part, the Palestinian Ambassador valued Iraq’s honorable stances in support of the people of Palestine and their just cause, extending thanks to the supreme religious authority and to the Iraqi government and people for standing by the Palestinian right.

Al-Araji discussed with the Palestinian Ambassador the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and the positions in support of the Palestinian cause.
