Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met today, Thursday, with Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting addressed the latest developments and situations on both the regional and international levels, as well as the role of Iraqi diplomacy in engaging with the world.

Al-Araji praised the significant role played by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its openness and approach to regional and international issues with wisdom and by bridging viewpoints, in a manner that safeguards the higher interests of Iraq and its people.
