Baghdad: The National Security Advisor, Qasim al-Aboudi, engaged in a crucial meeting with Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Saman Agha to address the security and service challenges facing Kirkuk Governorate.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on reviewing the current security landscape and the level of services provided to citizens in Kirkuk. The dialogue aimed at exploring strategies to enhance stability and support the government's efforts in improving these services.
Al-Aboudi highlighted the significance of Kirkuk's diverse demographic as a source of strength and unity. He stressed the importance of fostering peaceful coexistence among the governorate's various communities as a key element in bolstering security and stability. He further noted that the government, led by Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, is prioritizing the implementation of its program, which focuses on diversifying economic resources and enhancing service quality to positively affect citizens' lives.
Governor Mohammed Saman Agha reiterated the local government's commitment to aligning with the federal government's program. He emphasized their coordinated efforts to address citizens' needs, promote reconstruction and development, and ensure the maintenance of security, peace, and stability in the region.
