Erbil:National Security Advisor Qasim Al-Aboudi and Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani underscored the need for concerted efforts to preserve security achievements during a meeting on Tuesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Aboudi met with Barzani in Erbil to discuss the overall situation within Iraq and the latest developments in the region.

The discussions highlighted Iraq’s vision following the withdrawal of International Coalition forces, emphasizing the importance of political cooperation to maintain security accomplishments. Both parties agreed on the necessity for ongoing collaboration and coordination between the federal government and the Kurdistan region to enhance security and ensure stability throughout Iraq.
