National Security Council Discusses Protection of Archaeological Sites and Iraq-Qatar Memorandum

Baghdad: The National Security Council held its seventeenth session of 2025 on Tuesday, chaired by National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji and attended by council members.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the council discussed the topic of "Protecting Archaeological and Heritage Sites in Iraq." Additionally, the session addressed a "Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Iraq and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the State of Qatar."
