Baghdad: Chaired by Al-Aboudi, the National Security Council convened for its tenth session of 2026 on Tuesday, with the full attendance of all members. The Council engaged in discussions on various critical topics and reached several decisions and recommendations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Council’s agenda included the topic of “Improving Iraq’s Regional and International Relations,” which was thoroughly examined. Additionally, significant attention was given to the discussion on “Unifying the Security Media Discourse.” The session also addressed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Iraqi Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Industry and High Technology of the Republic of Armenia, resulting in necessary decisions and recommendations.

These discussions and decisions reflect the Council’s ongoing efforts to enhance Iraq’s security and international collaboration.
