Baghdad: The National Security Service announced today, Tuesday, the success of its technical and intelligence efforts to secure the elections. The official Spokesperson for the Service, Arshad al-Hakim, said in a statement: “The plan developed for the elections was flexible and witnessed a high level of coordination among all security agencies.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Service emphasized that there was a significant effort by cybersecurity forces to secure all aspects of the elections. The polling stations for the general voting process for the 2025 parliamentary elections closed this evening, Tuesday.
