Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi Launches an Experience Exploring 13 Billion Years


Abu dhabi: The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi will launch the ‘LEGO SHOWS Natural Brickstory’ exhibition on August 21st. This world-first, limited-time experience allows visitors to explore 13.8 billion years of natural history through building, creativity, and interactive experiences.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the exhibition combines LEGO brick creations with scientific specimens and the museum’s exceptional collections in an immersive experience for visitors of all ages. It invites them to participate in collaborative building activities inspired by the history of Earth, the evolution of wildlife, and the universe.



The experience includes a range of exploration trails, workshops, and hands-on activities that transform scientific concepts into creative, interactive experiences, fostering curiosity and learning through play, building, and discovery.



Dr. Peter C. Kjaergaard, Director of the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, stated that play is fundamental to learning and discovery, as it awakens curiosity and stimulates imagination and creativity-values that are at the heart of scientific discovery.



For her part, Alia Al Hammadi, Acting Director of Partnerships and Business Development at the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, said that the most impactful partnerships are those that give the public the opportunity to discover familiar places from a new perspective.



Visitors to the exhibition can continue their exploration through the galleries of the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, enjoying its diverse exhibits and scientific experiments, making the visit a complete educational and entertaining experience for families, children, and science and exploration enthusiasts.
