New Batch of Iraqi Guests Arrives in Diyala.


Diyala: A new batch of Iraqi guests arrived in Diyala Governorate today, Wednesday. A local government source has confirmed the arrival of these individuals, marking another step in the ongoing efforts to accommodate new arrivals in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the new batch includes 70 Lebanese families who have been transferred to Diyala. Local coordination committees are facilitating their movement to seven different cities within the governorate. These committees are responsible for ensuring that the families are provided with housing and other essential services upon their arrival.

The source noted that the majority of these families consist of women, children, and the elderly. There is significant popular interaction in the region, with local communities actively supporting the new arrivals by supplying them with necessary resources. This gesture of support highlights the collaborative efforts between the government and local residents to assist those in need.
