Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil has settled the controversy surrounding the prices of petroleum products as circulated on social media platforms. In an official statement issued today, Friday, the Ministry said, “What has been circulating on social media platforms pertains to the approved prices for government agencies, departments, and other sectors, and does not include petroleum products supplied to citizens.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry emphasized that “the prices of petroleum products allocated to citizens have not changed and continue to be sold at the subsidized prices that are approved and known to everyone.”
