Nineveh: The Nineveh office of the Independent High Electoral Commission has refuted reports suggesting that certain parties, lists, or individuals are leading the general election results in the province, labeling these claims as “inaccurate.”
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director of the Nineveh office, Farhan al-Maamari, emphasized that any talk of a “sweep” is baseless. He pointed out that the information circulating in some media outlets about specific parties leading the vote is unofficial and does not reflect the actual situation.
Al-Maamari clarified that the process of counting and sorting votes is still in progress, and the final results will only be announced once all official procedures in Baghdad are completed. He urged patience and emphasized the importance of awaiting the official announcement from the High Electoral Commission after a thorough review of all data is conducted.
