Nineveh: Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil discussed opportunities for joint cooperation with the Spanish Ambassador to Iraq, Alicia Rico Perez del Pulgar. Al-Dakhil emphasized the significance of Mosul International Airport as a vital project to connect the governorate to the international community and boost trade and investment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Dakhil highlighted the safe and stable environment that Nineveh offers, positioning it as an ideal destination for investment in sectors such as industry, agriculture, renewable energy, and sports. He encouraged Spanish companies and investors to consider these opportunities in the region.

The Spanish Ambassador expressed Spain’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Iraq, focusing on development and investment.
