Nineveh Governor Discusses Joint Cooperation with the American-Arab Chamber of Commerce


Nineveh: Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil discussed with the President and CEO of the American-Arab Chamber of Commerce ways to develop a roadmap for strengthening joint cooperation in the agricultural, industrial, and commercial sectors, contributing to supporting the local economy and attracting foreign investment to the province.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Dakhil stated that “Nineveh possesses significant economic potential, foremost among which are its vast agricultural lands and qualified human resources.” He noted the local government’s efforts to introduce modern technology and develop production methods, particularly in the agricultural sector, to achieve sustainable development and create new job opportunities.



Al-Dakhil also pointed to “the importance of developing industrial cities in the province and opening new production lines, while exploring mechanisms to encourage American companies to invest in Nineveh by providing administrative facilities and improving the investment climate, taking advantage of the security stability the province has witnessed recently.”



For its part, the American Chamber of Commerce expressed its interest in expanding cooperation with Nineveh, affirming that the province is a promising environment for investment in several sectors, especially agriculture, industry, and trade, given its economic opportunities and potential for growth.
