Nineveh: Nineveh has emerged as the leading Iraqi province with the lowest crime rates, as confirmed by Major General Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq, Director of Organized Crime Control in Nineveh.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Major General Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq emphasized that Nineveh has experienced a notable decline in crime rates and security incidents. This development has positioned the province among the top in Iraq concerning safety and security. Abdul Razzaq attributed this achievement to the continuous monitoring and coordination efforts among various security agencies in the province.
He further elaborated that the relevant agencies are actively implementing strategic plans to combat organized crime, apprehend wanted individuals, and mitigate issues that threaten the province’s security. The significant decrease in crime rates has had a favorable impact on the daily lives of citizens and has boosted economic activities throughout Nineveh.
