Nineveh: Nineveh Police announced the arrest of two individuals involved in belonging to the ISIS terrorist group during a targeted security operation carried out by its specialized units based on precise intelligence and valid arrest warrants.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a source in the Nineveh Police stated that “the two accused were working within the ranks of the ISIS during its control of some areas of the province.”

The source indicated that “the necessary legal measures have been taken against them and they have been referred to the competent judicial authorities to complete the investigations,” emphasizing the continuation of security operations to pursue wanted individuals and enhance security and stability throughout Nineveh.
