Nineveh: The head of the Nineveh Provincial Council, Ahmed Al-Hasoud, has emphasized the urgent need to resolve issues surrounding stalled projects and accelerate their completion to enhance the services provided to citizens.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hasoud stated that the Provincial Council is actively monitoring the progress and obstacles of various projects, with a particular focus on those deemed priority service projects. He highlighted the necessity of identifying the causes of delays, pinpointing accountable parties, and addressing technical, administrative, and financial obstacles in collaboration with relevant departments.
Further, Al-Hasoud stressed the importance of adhering to project timelines and ensuring that completed works meet technical specifications to guarantee quality and safeguard public funds. He also mentioned that the coming phase will see intense field monitoring of stalled and delayed projects to restart and finish them as swiftly as possible.
