Pyongyang: The North Korean army has conducted long-range artillery and missile drills utilizing both cruise and ballistic missiles.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the exercises involved five artillery and missile units and incorporated the use of attack drones and multiple rocket launchers firing thermobaric projectiles. The drills were overseen by Pak Jong-chon, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea, alongside Yu Chang-son, commander of the Artillery Department of the General Staff.

The North Korean Central News Agency confirmed that all systems accurately hit their targets during the exercises, demonstrating the precision and capability of the country’s military arsenal. The drills are seen as part of North Korea’s ongoing efforts to enhance its military readiness and strategic capabilities.
