Gaza: The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that the number of martyred journalists has risen to 231 after the martyrdom of Tamer Al-Za’anin and Walaa Al-Jabari.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this unfortunate increase highlights the continuing risks faced by media personnel in conflict zones. The deaths of Al-Za’anin and Al-Jabari add to the growing list of journalists who have lost their lives while performing their duties in Gaza.

The Government Media Office expressed its condolences to the families of the martyred journalists and called for greater protection for media workers in the region. The office emphasized the importance of safeguarding journalists to ensure the free flow of information and reporting from conflict areas.
