Diwaniyah: An officer and a security personnel were injured during an operation to arrest a drug dealer in Diwaniyah. A lieutenant colonel and one security officer sustained injuries during the operation in Diwaniyah province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the drug dealer was arrested and a quantity of narcotics was seized in his possession. The two wounded officers were taken to the hospital.
