Baghdad: The official welcoming ceremony for Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi occurred today at Saadabad Palace in Tehran. Al-Zaidi was greeted by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of both countries. Additionally, an inspection of the honor guard was part of the proceedings, marking the formal reception of the Prime Minister in the Iranian capital.
