Tehran: An official welcome ceremony was held today, Thursday, for Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi at the Saadabad Palace in the Iranian capital, Tehran. The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) ‘The Prime Minister was received by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian. The ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of both countries and an inspection of the guard of honor.’

According to Iraqi News Agency, the ceremony marked a significant diplomatic engagement between Iraq and Iran, highlighting the importance of bilateral relations. The event underscored the mutual respect and cooperation between the two nations, as symbolized by the formalities of the occasion.
