Accra:A meeting between Iraq’s Minister of Oil, Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi, and the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Iraq, Steven Fagin, focused on enhancing cooperation in the oil and gas sectors.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place on Thursday and included discussions on strengthening bilateral relations. Deputy Minister for Upstream Affairs, Naseer Aziz Jabbar, was also present during the meeting.

The discussions aimed at developing joint cooperation between Iraq and the United States in the energy sector, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the two countries.
