Baghdad: The Minister of Oil, Basim Mohammed Khudair, engaged in discussions with Najaf Governor Youssef Ganawi to focus on the enhancement of the oil sector within the province. The meeting also included the presence of Mohammed Al-Hasnawi, head of the provincial council's energy committee.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered on several critical issues. These included plans for the development of the Najaf refinery, oversight of operations at oil fields, and an examination of strategies to accelerate strategic projects. The aim of these initiatives is to increase oil production and support the region's development.
