Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Minister of Oil, Hayyan Abdul-Ghani Al-Sawad, received the Jordanian Ambassador to Baghdad, Maher Salem Al-Tarawneh, on Sunday. The meeting took place with Ali Nizar, the Director General of the State Oil Marketing Company, also in attendance.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on the bilateral relations between Iraq and Jordan, specifically in the oil and gas sectors. Both parties explored potential areas of collaboration and ways to strengthen their partnership in these critical energy sectors.
