Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil revealed on Sunday the size of the increase in Iraq's oil exports under the recent OPEC+ agreement. Ministry spokesman Salim al-Rikabi informed the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that the OPEC+ group has decided to increase production by 188,000 barrels per day, with Iraq's share being 26,000 barrels per day. This increase is set to be implemented starting next July.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair participated in the OPEC meeting via video conference. During the meeting, the decision was made to increase production by 188,000 barrels per day. This increase will be distributed among seven countries: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman.
