Basra: The Ministry of Oil has officially declared that the fire at the Zubair 1 Warehouse has been successfully extinguished. Following this development, plans are underway to commence maintenance and rehabilitation operations once necessary preparation and repair work is finalized.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry released a statement detailing the timeline of the firefighting efforts. At 3:10 PM on Sunday, teams from the Basra Oil Company, along with supporting agencies, effectively put out the fire that erupted earlier in the day at the Zubair 1 Warehouse.

The statement further outlined that the next steps involve initiating maintenance and rehabilitation processes at the warehouse, contingent upon the completion of preparation and repair tasks.
