Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil extended invitations today, Monday, to US companies to manage the West Qurna/2 oil field.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry’s decision to involve US companies in managing the West Qurna/2 oil field marks a significant step in the country’s efforts to enhance the efficiency and output of one of its major oil projects. The West Qurna/2 field is known to be one of the largest in the region, holding substantial reserves that are crucial for Iraq’s oil production capacity.
