Oil Prices Decline Amid U.S.-China Trade Tensions

Baghdad: Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading on Tuesday, amid diminishing investor expectations for demand growth due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China. Brent crude futures fell 25 cents, or 0.4%, to $65.61 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell 18 cents, or 0.3%, to $61.87 a barrel.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, both benchmarks experienced a decline of more than $1 on Monday. The ongoing trade tensions between Washington and Beijing have contributed to investor concerns, affecting market sentiment and leading to a decrease in anticipated demand growth for crude oil.
