Oil Prices Rise As US-China Trade Tensions Ease

Baghdad: Oil prices rose on Tuesday: as initial signs of easing trade tensions between the United States and China boosted optimism in markets and eased concerns about global fuel demand. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brent crude futures saw an increase of 18 cents, or 0.28 %, bringing the price to $63.50 per barrel. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate crude, the US intermediate, experienced a rise of 16 cents, or 0.27 %, reaching $59.65 per barrel. This development comes as market participants closely monitor the evolving trade relationship between the two largest economies in the world, anticipating potential impacts on global fuel demand and economic stability. The positive movement in oil prices is reflective of a more optimistic outlook as the trade tensions, which have long caused uncertainty and volatility in the market, show signs of moderation.
