According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brent crude futures rose by 50 cents, or 0.73%, to reach $68.9 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude climbed 58 cents, or 0.92%, to $63.79 per barrel.
Both crudes have recorded gains of nearly 5% since January 26, reaching their highest levels since September 29.
