New York: Oil prices recorded a slight rise today after falling during the past four sessions. Brent crude futures rose by 42 cents, or 0.61%, to reach $69.72 per barrel. Similarly, US West Texas Intermediate crude increased by 40 cents, or 0.6%, to $66.71 per barrel.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brent crude had experienced a 6.5% decline over the previous four sessions, reaching its lowest levels since December 2021 as of Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate crude saw a 5.8% drop during the same period, hitting its lowest point since May 2023.
