Baghdad: Oil prices maintained last week’s gains, as investors awaited US-China trade talks scheduled to take place in London later today. Brent crude futures settled at $66.47 a barrel at 00:08 GMT. US West Texas Intermediate crude rose one cent to $64.59.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the prospects of a US-China trade agreement supported prices, as three of President Donald Trump’s top aides are scheduled to meet with their counterparts in London on Monday for the first meeting of the US-China Economic and Trade Consultation Mechanism.
