Oil Prices Stabilize Amid Potential Russian Supply Disruption


Baghdad: Oil prices stabilized in early trading on Tuesday, after rising in the previous session, amid market participants’ expectations of a potential supply disruption from Russia. Brent crude futures rose 4 cents to $67.48 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude reached $63.32, up 2 cents.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brent crude settled 45 cents higher at $67.44 on Monday, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 61 cents to $63.30. Traders are also awaiting the Federal Reserve meeting, where the central bank is widely expected to cut interest rates. Lower borrowing costs could boost fuel demand.
