Baghdad – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is set to convene an extraordinary summit to discuss recent developments in Gaza. The summit, scheduled for next Sunday, comes at the invitation of Saudi Arabia, in its role as the current head of the Islamic Summit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, A statement from the OIC announced that the Riyadh-hosted summit will focus on the "brutal Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip." This meeting follows the organization's condemnation of the controversial statements made by the Zionist Culture Minister, Amichai Eliyahu, including his suggestion of using a nuclear bomb on Gaza.
