Baghdad: The Pakistani Foreign Ministry confirmed that the mutual strategic defense agreement signed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will not be used to threaten any other country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Pakistani Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan described the agreement as “a milestone in strengthening regional and global peace and security,” stating: “The agreement is defensive in nature and is not directed against any third country.”
He added, in a press conference: “Defense cooperation between Islamabad and Riyadh has been a fundamental pillar of relations between the two countries since the 1960s, and the agreement formalizes this decades-long partnership.”
