Islamabad: Pakistan has reiterated its dedication to maintaining the ceasefire agreement with India. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has affirmed the country’s commitment to the strict implementation of the ceasefire, despite reported violations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry issued a statement emphasizing Pakistan’s adherence to the ceasefire with India. The statement noted that while there have been violations by India in certain areas, Pakistani forces are managing the situation responsibly and with restraint.

The ministry further highlighted the importance of addressing any issues that may hinder the smooth implementation of the ceasefire through appropriate communication channels. It also stressed the necessity for ground forces to exercise restraint to maintain peace at the borders.
